Comfort temperature for the child

December 7th, 2007

The most comfort temperature for children in a room is determined by adults and equals approximately 18 - 23 C. However, if you are constantly afraid of colds, you should know the following:

It is easier to not accustom kids to heat, than to train then. Children do not feel a cold at all as do we, the adults, already spoiled by our parents and grandparents.

The child at a birth is a more perfect organism; he or she knows better than adults when it is hot and when it is cold.

We more often meet kids who complain of heat.

The child can catch cold once from a cold if the temperature is very unusual for him, but it won’t happen for the second time. Children are ill because of our ecology, bad food, or congenital weak immunity, but not because they freeze: provided that there is a central heating in your apartment, instead of 5 C below zero.
