The European youth has changed the TV for the Internet
Europeans in the age from 16 to 24 years prefer Internet to the TV, informed representatives of the European interactive advertising association.
82 percents of the questioned spend on the Internet from five to seven days a week. Only 77% of respondents watch the TV that frequently. At that 48% have confessed that began to watch the TV less often because of the Internet.
On the average every questioned spend online for 11,9 hours a week. Most of all time for the Internet, 13,6 hours a week, spend young people in Italy. Young inhabitants of Netherlands spend online the least of all others.
Over eighty percents of respondents have declared that cannot live at least without one kind of activity on the Internet. Every third cannot do without e-mail.
Over seven thousand people from ten European countries have been surveyed during the research.
